Johnson County Schools and the Graduating Class of 2022 would like to announce their upcoming Graduation ceremony on Saturday May 21st, 2022, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony is currently scheduled to take place on the football field, but could be relocated to the gym should the weather forecast be less than ideal. If there is a change in location due to weather, an announcement will be made by the morning of the 20th.
If you are unable to attend in person, our live stream will begin shortly before the ceremony, so please tune in using the link below if you wish to view it online.

Johnson County Schools 99th Commencement Exercise
Friday May 20th and Monday May 23rd will be professional development days for the employees of Johnson County Schools. There will be NO School for students on those two days.

The Johnson County Health Department and the Department of Education are partnering together in order to provide Influenza vaccines at each schools. If you would like for your child to receive a flu vaccine, please see the linked information below to review and fill out the proper forms.

The window for Kindergarten enrollment for the 2022-23 school year has officially started! To complete the online enrollment process for your kindergarten student, please click on the link below.
Please note that students who are currently enrolled in PreK or Head Start in Johnson County do not have to complete the enrollment, as they are already enrolled and will be moved up accordingly.

Tennessee Code Annotated 49-6-3001 states that it is mandatory that all children attend school, and Tennessee Code Annotated 49-6-3007 states that any child attending a public school who has five (5) unexcused absences during a school year is considered truant and in violation of the said law. Students and families in violation of the said law are to be placed in the Progressive Truancy Intervention Program.
The Effects of Absenteeism is a form that must be completed by families that have been placed in the Progressive Truancy Intervention Plan. All families will be notified if they are to complete this form. Please click on the link below to begin. It is important that you read and answer all questions. Click submit at the bottom of the form once you are finished. Please note that this form will be printed and placed in your child's attendance file. A copy will be given to the Johnson County Juvenile Court if a petition is filed.
